Wisconsin football has landed their second commitment of the day after a top cornerback announced his intentions.

Cameron Miller, a 2025 three-star cornerback from New Jersey, had been connected with the Wisconsin football program for the past few months. Wisconsin and Miller moved quickly towards a commitment after initially beginning contact earlier this year. Miller now joins the Wisconsin football program over Kentucky, Georgia, Duke, and others.

Wisconsin Football Lands Talented Cornerback Cameron Miller Following Close Decision

After a few months of close recruiting, the Wisconsin football staff has landed a commitment from one of their coveted under-the-radar recruits. Cameron Miller is one of the most heavily recruiting three-star recruits in the country as he holds offers from major programs such as Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State to name a few. What has brought 21 scholarship offers in the direction of Miller is his ability to play different styles of play and positions for his team.

Miller is officially listed as a cornerback by his High School, however, Miller has plenty of experience playing as a receiver for his team. Miller is a speedy, explosive player coming in at 5-feet-11-inches as he blows past defenders with ease. The talented athlete has not received all of this attention as a receiver only, however, since some programs have offered Miller as a defensive back.

For the Wisconsin Badgers football staff, the plan at this point in time seems to be making Miller into wide receiver.

Wisconsin Badgers Football Continues to Boost 2025 Recruiting Class With Multiple Recruits

For the Wisconsin football staff, there has been a growing sense of pressure on the staff and program as the team must produce this coming season. That success for Wisconsin starts off the field with who the program recruits and brings into the team. The Badgers have been nothing but busy over the last few weeks as they have pushed hard to land commitments.

Head Coach Luke Fickell has long been known as someone who looks for a specific build and aggression in the play style of his athletes. Fickell was personally involved in the recruitment of Miller due to the fact that Miller fits the bill as a Badgers’ style player.

With Multiple Position Options, Where Will Miller Play for the Wisconsin Badgers?

Coming into his Senior year of play, Miller has experience as a safety, cornerback, and wide receiver. The versatile athlete has had the opportunity to also return kicks and punts on special teams for his High School team.

At this point in time, the Wisconsin football staff has plans to convert Miller into a full-time wide receiver for the program. Miller is talented at each position he plays, but the staff feels his best option for the future would be to move to the offensive side of the ball permanently.
