@ NY Jets - Thursday Night Football: The Houston Texans will go on the road and play the Jets at Met Life Stadium. This game will be the first-ever matchup of C.J. Stroud vs. Aaron Rodgers, and, who knows, it could be the only one ever.

vs. Detroit Lions - Sunday Night Football: The Texans and Lions were both somewhat of a Cinderella story last season. But let's see who really got better.

@ Dallas Cowboys - Monday Night Football: This is the battle for the best team in Texas. This game should have a ton of Texans fans at it despite it being in Dallas as compared to Houston.

@ Kansas City Chiefs - Saturday Night Football: This is C.J. Stroud vs. Patrick Mahomes. It also could end up being a game between two teams that are battling for first place in the AFC.

vs. Baltimore Ravens - Netflix: An AFC playoff rematch on Christmas Day? Sign me up. Let's see if the newest version of the Texans is better than the one last year that kind of got beaten down.

3 Must-watch Matchups

C.J. Stroud vs. Patrick Mahomes: This one is a no-brainer. We are talking about a top-five QB already in Stroud and maybe the most talented QB we have ever seen in Mahomes, who is well on his way to claiming the GOAT title.

Derek Stingley vs. Tyreek Hill: This matchup should be pure cinema. This is one of the best CBs in the league vs. one of the best WRs.

Texans O-Line vs. Cowboys D-Line: As we have seen, Stroud and Micah Parsons are pretty good friends outside of football. But Parsons is a beast, and the offensive line will have its hands full.
